Meet Dorika Mamboleo Beckett - CEO | Chair

An entrepreneur with a passion to build excellent organizations.

Dorika Mamboleo Beckett is an entrepreneur with more than two decades of success as a C-Suite Executive. She brings value-added expertise in Strategic Planning, Financial Analysis and Management, Operating Systems, and Audit/Treasury functions to her professional and Board Member roles.

Dorika is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Los Angeles-based LW Staffing LLC, a corporation she founded in 2004, whose revenues has grown from $100,000 to more than $30 million, and employed tens of thousands of employees. She is also the Founder and CEO of Los Angeles-based Livewell Homecare, Inc., a multi- million dollar revenue organization. In her career, Dorika has managed & owned businesses with over $2 billions in revenues.

In July, 2020, Velocity Financial Inc. elected Dorika as an Independent Director. She also serves as Chairperson of the Imani & Baraka Foundation, a global not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to support organizations that promote the education and empowerment of children from underrepresented communities in Africa and South America.

Dorika began her corporate career as a Business Consultant for Monitor Group, providing strategic advice to Fortune 500 companies such as AT&T, John Hancock, and South African based telecommunications and insurance organizations. She was a member of the team that helped expand Monitor’s global presence by opening their office in post-apartheid South Africa, Monitor’s first location on the African continent. Upon graduation from Harvard Business School (HBS), Dorika returned to South Africa as Partner for a $120 million venture capital and private equity fund whose mission was to invest capital to start and grow Southern Africa based companies. She held Board leadership roles in several of the Fund’s investments, that included mobile telecommunications & media companies, including serving as Chairperson of TV Africa.

Dorika is a pioneer in the e-commerce industry. She co-founded Skilljam, an on- line software development company that was precursor and eventual division of MySpace, where she developed and managed customer engagement solutions.
